Welcome to the online presence of the Ann Arbor Pipes & Drums. We are a competitive Grade 3 pipe and drum organization based in Ann Arbor, Michigan USA. We are a proud member and supporter of the Midwest Pipe Band Association (MWPBA) We perform and compete all over the Midwestern region of the United States and in Ontario, Canada.

The 2009 competition season has begun!

The band enjoyed a sunny weekend at the Alma Highland Festival/US Championships. The band played a very successful MSR set on Sunday that saw the drum corps take a first place victory on the day over some very stiff competition.

The band next travels to Midland, Michigan on June 13th for an exhibition performance and then on to Kincardine, Canada on July 4th to compete against some of Canada's best grade 3 competition!

> October 4, 2008:
Another competition season has come and gone! It was a very good year and the band made significant progress in establishing itself in grade 3 competition. On that note we would like to announce an astounding addition to our band. Chris Barr has signed on to both instruct and play lead snare for us in the 2009 competition season. This is an exciting time to be part of the Ann Arbor Pipes & Drums and we expect that with the addition of Chris to our ranks our drumline will grow in skill by leaps and bounds!
